Jesus is Cool

It has been really interesting for me to introduce my son to our Christian faith.  As far as we can tell, he has never heard of God, let alone Jesus.  He loves to pray with us though, and he's got a few phrases in the "Jesus Loves Me" song down pat.

Tonight we were paging through a children's picture Bible and looking at all the pictures of Jesus healing people.  He liked pointing to the person who was pictured with Jesus and saying, "all better."  We then got to the picture of Jesus walking on water.  He pointed, said, "Jesus?" while gesturing that his feet were on top of the water, not in it.  I nodded my head and told him the very simplified short version of the story.  He pointed to Jesus again and said, "Cool."

You're right, buddy.  Jesus is pretty cool.
