Williamsburg and beyond...

I'm going to call this a photojournalism piece.  That's my excuse for lots of photos and very few words.  :)

We took a family trip to Williamsburg in April.  We all needed a little getaway and thought Great Wolf Lodge would be just the place to blow off some steam.

We checked in on Thursday evening and got started immediately on the Magic Quest.  Ziggity and Dr. Jiggles had conquered the game on our last visit, so served as mentors for the younger set this time around.

Friday morning, we hit the pool hard.  I am proud to say that every member of the family is now at least 48 inches tall and could ride every single ride.  Sweet One was beyond thrilled to try out the few that she had missed out on last time around.

Friday night, we decided to venture into the arcade.  Sticks had given each kid a little spending credit on their wristbands, so they were eager to make use of that.

Some were more eager than others.

We finished out the evening with story time with Oliver, the raccoon, and then fell into an exhausted heap for the duration.

The next day, we headed north a bit to do a little camping and fishing.  While there were no fish to be had, we did enjoy all the fun and festivities available at the family campground.

It was a whirlwind weekend full of fun.  A good time was had by all and we returned rejuvenated and refreshed for our final push to finish out the last 6 weeks of school.
